The Department of Managing the Credit System of Education

The "Management of the credit system of education" department (hereinafter referred to as the Department), within the educational and methodological department, is the structural organization of the university that performs tasks such as organizing academic activities based on the credit-module system of education, creates and develops the curriculum, science programs, ensuring the openness and transparency of the educational process, introducing international standards into the educational system, preventing the occurrence of bureaucratic obstacles in the system, and forming analytical data and optimizing the decision-making process.

1. In its activities, the department follows the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education", decrees and decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan , adheres to the decisions and orders of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the University Charter, decisions of the University Council, orders of the rector and other normative documents.

2. The department is an independent structural organization, which is subordinate to the vice-rector for educational affairs and the Educational and Methodological Department.

Department duties

gradual transformation of the academic process of the university to the credit-module system;
gradual transition from education focused on theoretical knowledge to formation practical skills in educational programs and introduction of advanced standards of higher education based on international experiences;
to raise the content of higher education to a new level in terms of quality, to establish a system of highly qualified personnel training that will make a worthy contribution to the sustainable development of the social sphere and economic sectors, and will find a place in the labor market;
attraction of foreign education and science technologies;
management of information on study plans and training programs, training sessions and examination schedules, student learning and attendance;
regularly working on improvement of state educational standards, curricula, educational programs for each field of education and master's specialty based on the experience of developed countries and the requirements of the times;
during the period of application of regulatory documents to the educational process, identifies the norms that do not work well in them and prepare appropriate recommendations and proposals for their further improvement;
control the quality of teaching, monitor student learning;
organization of re-study processes for academically indebted students and supervision of the educational process;
studies, summarizes and introduces modern information and pedagogical technologies and practical experiences used in the country and abroad into the educational process.
