DEPARTMENT OF ANATOMY

HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of “Anatomy” of UzGIFK was organized in 1955-1956. on the initiative of Doctor of Medical Sciences Professor R.E. Khudoiberdiev, who became the first head of the department.The Department of Physiology of UzGIFK was also created in 1955-1956 on the initiative of Doctor of Medical Sciences. Professor A.S. Shatalina, who also became the first head of the department.  Over the years, the Department of Anatomy was headed by Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor M.G. Gulyamov (1960-1976), Doctor of Medical Sciences, Prof. B.G. Ganiev (1976-1980), Ph.D., prof. Safarova D.D. (1981-2012).The Department of Physiology was headed in 1956-1960. prof. A.S. Shatalina, Ph.D., Associate Professor M.L. Shapiro (1960-1971), Ph.D., Associate Professor D.R. Rustamova (1973-1985), Doctor of Medical Sciences , prof. I.G.Azimov (1985-1996), Ph.D., prof. A.K. Khamrakulov (1997-2007). After the merger of two departments from 2007 to 2012. The department of “Anatomy and Physiology” was headed by Ph.D., prof. Safarova D.D.

During these years, associate professors B.A. Akhmedov, V.A. Ustinov and senior teachers V.A. Koltunova, G.N. Masharipova, S.A. Khasanova, Z.T. Kosimbekov, U.A. successfully worked at the department. Musaeva and A.A. Tolametov. From the 2012-2013 academic year, candidate of biological sciences, associate professor L.D. Seydalieva was appointed head of the department. Since 2018-2019 academic year the department is again headed by prof. D.D. Safarova.

EDUCATIONAL LITERATURE PREPARED BY PROFESSORS AND  TEACHERS OF THE DEPARTMENT

         Today, professors and teachers of the departmentMore than 10 textbooks and more than 15 teaching aids, 10 teaching aids and recommendations, as well as 2 monographs, more than 200 scientific articles and theses have been published.

The basic education, academic degrees and academic titles of professors of the department correspond to the specialization of the department. Currently, the department has 21.25 full-time employees, of which the main staff includes 1 head of the department, a professor, 1 acting professor, 2 associate professors, 5 senior teachers, 6 teachers.
